The Department of Food Service & Nutrition Education has over 50
years of experience in the food and nutrition milieu and enjoys
collaborating with the Lester B. Pearson community to service
the students of our School Board.
Food Service and Nutrition Education is a division of the
Community Services department of the Lester B. Pearson School
Board. We are diverse in servicing the needs of our students,
administrators and colleagues in the many areas of the Food
Service business, such as student dining in cafeterias, snack
bars, hot lunch delivery, coffee orders and
business-meeting-lunches. Our main goals are to teach nutrition
education through newsletters for students and parents, direct
in-class teaching and workshops for teachers.
