Hungry Kids Program A program is available for any student at the high school level who is in need of a hot meal or a "milk and muffin" snack. The Food Technician distributes the Hungry Kids Meal Cards to all high schools. The high school students may go to their designated administrator at their school for meal cards.
Les Luttes Contre la Pauvreté Grant Selected high schools of Lachine, LaSalle, Pierrefonds/Roxboro and Verdun were selected by the MEQ to share an annual grant and is used to provide breakfasts and lunches to the students. The implementation of this grant includes the logistics of staffing the kitchens, co-coordinating orders, meetings with administrators and feeding the students.
