The Lester B. Pearson School Board Food Policy's main objective is to sensitize and teach students that choosing well-balanced foods every day will improve their learning and living capabilities.
It raises student awareness of eating well by:
- Providing educational projects and programs based on a variety of themes about nutrition to increase the knowledge of students,educators, and parents.
- Encouraging students to choose well-balanced freshly prepared meals from our cafeterias.
The Food & Nutrition Policy establishes the quantity, quality and pricing of all foods served to all the elementary and high school students throughout the Lester B. Pearson School Board schools.
