Cereal Trail Mix
Ingredients:
1/2 cup margarine, soft
2 tsp seasoned salt
2 tsp celery salt
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbp Worcestershire sauce
6 cups each of 3 of your favorite low sugar cereals (18 cups in total)
4 cups unsalted pretzels
Directions:
1. Mix seasonings in melted margarine.
2. Mix dry ingredients.
3. Sprinkle margarine over dry ingredients.
4. Bake 250F for 45 minutes. Stir often while baking.
5. Cool. Store in air-tight container.
Crunch away!

Mexican Popcorn
Ingredients:
1 ¼ oz envelope taco seasoning mix
1 tsp. dried oregano
½ tsp garlic powder
Directions:
1. Mix ingredients together.
2. Melt 2 tbsp margarine and add spices.
3. Drizzle over 6 cups popcorn.

Cheese Pita Chips
Ingredients:
2 whole wheat pita breads
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. Split breads in half horizontally.
2. Brush oil on cut side.
3. Cut into wedges and place in a single layer on baking sheet.
4. Sprinkle with cheese.
5. Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes.
Serve with salsa!

Jazzed Up Celery Sticks
1. Fill celery sticks with cream cheese or peanut butter.
2. Top with raisins or cranberries.

Bearrry Fruit Toss
1. Mix a few spoonfuls yogurt with maple syrup to taste.
2. Toss with berries and pieces of other fruits like: honeydew, cantaloupe, peaches, pear (choose 2-3 different ones)
3. Top with small bear shaped graham cookies just before serving.

Lettuce Raps
Makes 2 wraps.
Ingredients:
2 large Boston lettuce leaves
1/2 cup coleslaw
4 slices (75 g) ham
2 slices cheddar cheese
toothpicks
Directions:
1. Place 2 slices ham in the center of each of 2 large lettuce leaves.
2. Top each half with a slice of cheddar cheese.
3. Divide coleslaw.
4. Roll up, secure with a toothpick if needed.

Dried Fruit Fiesta
Ingredients
cottage cheese
your favorite dried fruit (raisins, apricots, cranberries, etc.)
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
2. Serve with crackers.

Petite Waldorf
Ingredients:
1 chopped apple
1 stalk celery chopped
1 orange divided in segments
¼ cup of grapes
¼ cup of walnuts chopped
dressing to taste (made with 1/2 light whipped salad dressing and 1/2 plain yogurt)
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
2. Serve over graham wafers or crackers.

Caesar Lettuce Wraps
Makes 2 wraps.
Ingredients:
2 large boston lettuce leaves
4 slices turkey
2 slices cheese
2 tbsp tomato, chopped
2 tsp caesar dressing
Directions:
1. Top each lettuce leaf with 2 slices turkey, 1 slice cheese and 1 tbsp tomato.
2. Drizzle each with 1 tsp salad dressing.
3. Fold in sides of lettuce and roll up!
4. Serve immediately or wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate.

Apple & Cheese Tortilla
Ingredients:
1 tortilla (10 inch)
1 apple, shredded
1 oz cheese, shredded
cinnamon (optional)
Directions:
1. Put apple and cheese on tortilla.
2. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
3. Wrap like a gift.
4. Microwave until cheese is melted.

Cheese Quesadilla
Ingredients:
1 whole wheat tortilla (6 inch)
1/4 cup salsa
1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
Ingredients:
1. Spread salsa and cheese over half of the tortilla. Fold over
2. Grill in frying pan until browned.
3. Flip over and brown on other side.
4. Cut into wedges.
Hint: You can warm the quesadilla in the microwave but to get the tortilla toasted use the frying pan.

Sunny Honey Dip
Makes ½ cup.
Ingredients:
½ cup ricotta cheese
1 tbsp honey
2 tsp prepared mustard
Directions:
1. Combine all 3 ingredients and mix well.
2. Serve with your favourite veggies!

Pumpkin Dip
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon canned pumpkin
1/3 cup low fat vanilla yogurt
1 teaspoon orange juice (100% pure)
pinch of cinnamon
graham crackers for dipping
Mix all ingredients well. Serve with graham crackers.

Spinach Dip
Ingredients:
1 package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
1/2 cup low fat mayonnaise
1 cup low fat sour cream
1 envelope Knorr vegetable soup mix
3 green onions, chopped
Mix and leave overnight in the refrigerator. Excellent served with fresh pumpernickel bread or vegetables.

Roasted Red Pepper Dip
Serves 6
Ingredients:
3 roasted red bell peppers
3/4 cup feta cheese, drained and crumbled
2 sun dried tomatoes
1/2 tsp minced garlic
Directions:
1. Puree all ingredients in a food processor.
2. Chill and serve with crackers and veggies.

Bean Salsa
Serves 6
Ingredients:
1 can (10oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup fresh or canned and drained corn
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp fresh thyme
1/2 tsp minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and toss until mixed.
2. Serve with crackers or homemade pita chips.

Turkey Phyllo Sticks
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 sheet phyllo, thawed (follow directions on the box)
4 slices turkey breast
2 slices mozzarella cheese, cut in halves
6 spinach leaves
mustard
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
3. Cut the phyllo sheet lengthwise into 4 equal strips.
4. Lightly butter each strip or spray with cooking spray.
5. Place 1 strip over another strip and set aside. Do the same with the 2 remaining strips.
6. Place 2 turkey slices, 2 cheese halves and 3 spinach leaves over phyllo dough.
7. Roll to make a cigar shape.
8. Repeat with remaining ingredients and phyllo strip.
9. Place on the baking sheet and bake until phyllo is golden brown.
10. Dip sticks in mustard and enjoy!

Cheese Sticks
Makes 10 cheese sticks
Ingredients:
3 tbsp sesame seeds
10 mozzarella cheese sticks
Directions:
1. Broil the sesame seeds in the oven or heat in a non stick skillet on the stovetop until lightly browned.
2. Place the sesame seeds in a flat dish and set aside to cool.
3. Microwave cheese uncovered for about 5 seconds or until they are warm. Do not melt the cheese!
4. Roll and press the warm cheese in the sesame seeds.
5. Eat immediately or chill.
